Reinventing the classic family style Mexican restaurant, Guaslamex ("Gua-temalan," Sal-vadoran, "Mex-ican") is a combination of these three cuisines. Located in Pomona, California, Guasalmex is the pride and joy of patriarch Guillermo Jojcosme. The idea to serve a variety of Latin American cuisine is a reflection of their family. The Jojcosme's combine the father's Guatemalan heritage with the mother's Mexican heritage. They founded Guasalmex to bring greater selection of food to the area and have succeeded with a menu serving an extensive array of food suitable for any palate and any budget
